Our Story
Dog’s Gotta HAV-IT Dog Treats began as a simple idea at Harvey Area Vocational Instructional Training. What started as a fun baking activity quickly turned into a passion project for our team. We wanted to create something special for the dogs in our community, focusing on health and happiness. Our treats are crafted with all-natural ingredients, ensuring they're safe for dogs with allergies. The entire process involves our community, making every batch a labor of love and dedication to your pets' well-being.
Our mission is to provide high-quality, nutritious treats that dogs love, while also fostering a sense of community and purpose among our team members. We believe in the power of collaboration and the joy of giving back, which is why every purchase supports our vocational training programs.
What We Are Made Of
Our product is an all natural gluten free dog biscuit made with all of the finest ingredients. We use filtered water along with organic carrots. The peanut butter we use is 100% peanuts, no added sugars or sodium! The honey and applesauce we use in our recipe is also gluten free and comes from our local grocery stores. The preservative we have been using is an all natural mixed tocopherol which is a vitamin E oil. The oats we use are also gluten free and are hand ground into the flour that we use in our mixture. The brown rice flour used in our mixture comes from our local flour mill Firebird Artisan/Ardent Mills. (Firebird Artisan Mills was acquired by Ardent Mills in 2021.) We are proud to be able to share this product that we have worked so diligently on, to the dog’s of the community!
